When Yorkies were first bred, they were much bigger than the yorkie we have today.The yorkie gradually got smaller over the years. They were first seen around the 19th century, people used them the to work in textile mills, coal mines and factories. Mainly the were raised to get rid of rats.
The first time the Yorkshire Terrier ever appeared on a dog show was in 1870. Yorkies were register in 1874 by the BKC ( British Kennel Club) Yorkies were made into a toy dog
Chihuahuas can come in many, MANY colors. They can be white, black, and sable. They can also be, tri-colored, ginger, cream,and blue. But there are even more colors like blue, red, lavender, fawn. And, also brindle and parti-color.
