The Yorkshire Terrier can be a brave and full of adventure type of dog. They can also be very loyal. The are clever and smart, too. They are very energetic, but can be easy to train. But they can also devolope bad behavior if you are not careful. If you show you are not the dominate one then they could go out of control. They can become stubborn and over-protective. And might snap at people. They may also become aggressive to other small animals. They may look cute but they can turn into devils if not careful.

They can have long silky fur or you can have it cut short and ragged. They have blackish or blue(grey) on the tail and body and tan(brown) everywhere else. If the Yorkie is for show it has long fur, if not then most owners cut it short to give them the teddy bear look. They are around 6 to 7 inches in height. (15-17.5cm) And they also weight around 7 pounds. (3.2kg) They are in the terrier group.

They don’t like strangers. They will bark a lot. Don’t like being separated. They are alert and energetic. They are lap dogs. And bond to their owner. They make perfect watch dogs, too. But they are not for young children. They bite and get annoyed easy. They should are better off with children 8 and over.
